Protests throughout the world continue to rage a week after they began over a crudely-produced video that mocks Islam. The internet video, produced in the United States, led to anti-American demonstrations in dozens of countries. As many as 17 people have died in the violence. American warships stood by off Libya after the US ambassador there was killed in a possibly-related attack.
